During the International Show of Art and Crafts every day, from 10 am to 11 pm, the Fortezza da Basso is transformed into a veritable City of Beauty, where expert craftsmen will show their skills in a beautiful happenings made of exhibitions, works realized on the spot and events such as workshops, conventions and special events.

Do not miss the event cradle of handmade where the excellence of Made in Italy compares to the multicultural arts of faraway countries and where food as well has a special place, as result of a skillful use of hands and intellect.

• INTERNATIONAL ART AND CRAFTS - Spadolini Pavilion, lower level
  Here you will find craftsmen with their exhibitions from far and wide. • FOOD - Penthouse floor of the pavilion Spadolini

• Casa dolce (Sweet home) - New for 2013: an entire sector dedicated to cake design that follows the shape of the “Home Sweet Home”, space full of pastry workshop, talk shows and exhibition of the highest cake in Italy!


• The route of chocolate: an exclusive area dedicated to the very traditional hand making of chocolate. Special guest maître chocolatier Roberto Catinari.


• The route of beer: an exclusive area dedicated to the most important traditional breweries. A journey of tasting incredibly pleasant.


• Ecooo: a fantastic, unknown to the human eye planet created by the Architect atelier G@uT from Sesto Fiorentino, a world where environmental sustainability and craftsmanship, are fused together in a unique atmosphere.


• Baloon Art: perhaps the funniest part of the fair, where you will find large balloon sculptures made in a perfect stile, representing cartoons and celebrities.
