The Vasari corridor, one of the most extraordinary works of the Renaissance, was built in 1565 in just 5 months by the architect Giorgio Vasari. The original idea was to build a raised path combining old Palace (seat of Government) with Palazzo Pitti (residence of the Medici family) and provide the opportunity for Grand Dukes to move freely without having to go outside. Today the Vasari corridor is the most exclusive Gallery in Florence that few people have had the chance to visit. On the occasion of the five hundredth anniversary of the birth of Vasari, the have designed a series of unique visits, staged by actors dressed in beautiful clothes Renaissance with a script written for the occasion will accompany visitors in this wonderful trip in time.
