In Florence, opens to the public a new museum, unknown to the most, but rich in masterpieces such as the Adoration of the Child by Piero di Cosimo, the two wedding panels of Beccafumi, the magnificent paintings of Salvator Rosa and Luca Giordano. The palace, which belonged for centuries to the noble and ancient lineage, later went to the Curia of Florence, to which Francesca Martelli had left in the year of her death in 1986. Then became property of the Italian State. The museum will be open to the public initially on Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning, by appointment only, with guided tours.
